Serenity

And what is, more exactly, serenity? -- never mind the dictionary. To me, serenity is what happens when I unplug my mental labeling reflexes. When I don't try to "understand", i.e. to fit what I see into what I already know. Or to manipulate reality into the mould of my desires. Or away from my fears. This is when I can really "see" new things. More exactly, things appear in a new light.

So, before rushing into doing things the usual way, take a chair, sit down, and look -- but don't think. Not so easy, huh?
